Easy Banana Bread Recipe

Easiest Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature
3/4 Cup Sugar or 1/4 cup Splenda blend
1/2 teas salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 ripe bananas, mashed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan.  In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar and mix
well.  Add salt, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and bananas, and
continue to mix.

Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes till done.

Optional:
Add 2 handfuls of raisins before pouring into the pan.


Tips:
All ingredients for banana bread need to be room temperature.  Some microwaves
have the option to "warm".  This works well if you need to get ingredients to room
temperature quickly.

When bananas start to turn brown and you cannot use them, throw them in the
freezer, and thaw when you are ready to make banana bread.  No more wasted
bananas!
